"House in the garden - Garden in the house"

The idea of integrating a residential building with the surrounding landscape is neither new nor too original. It is time, once and for all, to give up a stereotype of designing a garden to fit the building. How then should the modern house-garden space, everyday landscape and a place of residence look like?  What new possibilities does designing an integrated house and garden space open?  Has the time come for the concepts of "house" and "garden" to be redefined?

Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Section of Landscape Art and Academic Entrepreneurship Incubators (Manufaktura KunSZTU)  and Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie invite to interdisciplinary design workshop . The topic of this year's meeting: House in the garden - garden in the house, or designing an integrated residential space.

The workshop is open to designers, students of architecture and landscape architecture and garden design enthusiasts. The results, that is the workshop teams' projects, will be displayed at the exhibition during the Gardenia fair on February 24-26, 2012.
